數日前, 在朋友家聽到林憶蓮的一首舊歌..赤裸的秘密。當中有張國榮及林憶蓮的獨白。
因為, 這位朋友不懂中文, 他問我那獨白的意思, 當其時, 我沒有即時翻譯。獨白的內容太有意思, 我想把它全意翻譯, 不希望有一點的差異。
回家後, 很用心地用上一些時間把獨白轉成英語。在過程中, 加上歌詞的帶動下, 心中有一股無奈感及心酸。

Leslie: In recent days, I see you wearing the nightclothes which I presented you with. The one which has a bow in the front. You made an enigmatic knot carelessly every time. Once it happens, I shave by one hand and try to help you to release it by another hand. However, you advice that the knot was made by a pair of hand, how I could release it by one hand only. I really want to know what sort of hand can asisst you to release/ solve your knot/ difficulty of love? What kind of man can make you to love completely and recklessly?
Sandy: Regarding my presentation of love, I don't know how to say. It may be caused by wounds in the past. I promised to myself that I would not devote anymore. Even if I know well that I never have any chance to meet someone else who is such good as you. Anyway, I think everyone is selfish. Before my heart will be broken again, pls forgive me, I have to leave.
